Pastors Terence & Rasheda Davis are the parents of Amos Ezekiel Davis. The mother (Rasheda) had a vision to build a program for families with special needs to advocate and bring hope, change, and services to a community of individuals who often have no support or a lack of assistance. Rasheda desires to build a foundation that will help families who are struggling in silence, and to be an extension of support to them with our various programs in different cities/states.

The Twins
Office Manager
Amos and Ashley Davis were born on June 25th, 2005. The twins were born prematurely at 24 weeks and have had many medical challenges. It was stated that Amos was given too much oxygen in the ICU at birth and it's believed this was the cause of his blindness. Due to this, research shows that scar tissue may develop and pull the retina loose from the inner surface of the eye (retinal detachment). In severe cases, this can result in vision loss. In the past, the use of too much oxygen in treating premature babies caused vessels to grow abnormally.
In Amos' case, this may have been the cause of his blindness. Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is abnormal blood vessel development in the retina of the eye. Amos has only light perception and can't see people/things (UNTIL JESUS HEALS HIM).
Amos is also developmentally delayed and functions on an eight year old level or less in some areas. Amos is a walking blessing and miracle to the world.

Ashley had a grade 4 Intraparenchymal Hemorrhage (IPH or bleed in the brain) at birth. This bleed can cause blood clots to form and block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. This can lead to increased fluid in the brain (called hydrocephalus). Preterm birth can lead to many different health complications.
Ashley has a ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt in her head. This is a cerebral shunt that drains excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) when there is an obstruction in the normal outflow or there is a decreased absorption of the fluid. Cerebral shunts are used to treat hydrocephalus. She has had two shunt revisions (surgeries). Ashley is a walking miracle. The Lord's hand is upon her life.
